iPhone OS 4 will let apps update the wallpaper

iphone-os-4-wallpaper2It looks like iPhone OS 4 (coming out this summer), will allow applications to modify the device’s wallpaper.

Also, from the demo screenshots, it looks like the iPhone will finally able to have a wallpaper for the “Home" Screen” and the “Lock Screen”, like the iPad does.

I’m looking forward to try out the new SDK and integrating this into WallpaperSync!
